Town is ORV friendly allowing you to take a break from the trails to reach restaurants & gas stations. The Denton Creek trail system takes you east to the unofficial off-road vehicle capital of Michigan, St. Helen, and as far south west as Harrison. The county is full of two-track, twisty single-track, and soggy ORV routes & trails welcoming dirt bikes, quads, side by sides, Jeeps & trucks. This charming up-north town offers plenty of attractions like events, dining & restaurants, shopping and more! One of the coolest places to visit is the Historic Pines Theater. Since 1941 when this theater was created nearly 2 million visitors have passed through its doors. The log cabin theater on M-55, showcases the up north experience. Step inside and you see nearly 100 trophy animals from all over the United States. In fact the owners claim to have more trophy animals on display than many local wildlife museums. Another feature of the Pines that sets it apart from other theaters is that they offer a cry room for people to be able to watch a film with their children with out disrupting others in the audience.

If you are looking for excitement take the family to one of the two amusement parks or many putt-putt golf courses. Funland Amusment park offers water slides, putt-putt golf, a token arcade, batting cages, go-carts, a harness trampoline, a ferris wheel and water boats.
